Determined not to let those little sods get me down, I've gone and bought myself a 2004 GSXR 750 (K4) in blue and white. I'm absolutely over the moon, this has lifted all my spirits and I can't wait to get hold of it on Saturday. It'll be great to get out to the bike meets so soon, especially with this bout of good weather.
Pictures to come soon, same for the mods!

Think positive
Well, a good nights sleep has helped calm me down. The number of emotions I went through yesterday was worrying, shock, rage, fear, depression, dissapointment, et cetera. Fredy was out on his rounds today and rung me up after finding an R1 owner pushing his bike along, apparently it was nicked two days prior and the police had told him where he could pick it up. It turns out the thieves were to kids/guys on a red scooter, not a couple of miles from where mine went missing, could well be the same two that nicked mine on a red scooter. If so, there's hope yet that it'll turn up relatively unmolested.
The thought of two little ignorant delinquents who should be in college, thrashing my bike makes me livid, who the hell do these punks think they are to take what I've worked very hard to own? Todays justice system will bring no justice to these offenders, no wonder so many take matters into their own hands.
To keep positive, I've started planning for the new bike already, I have my eye on a 2004 GSX-R 750, the new version of my one. I'll see about sorting the financials out first thing next week, then if the bike turns up, I can just sell it and put the cash towards it, or take the insurance settlement. Some good might yet come out of this. Though my insurance premiums are no doubt going to go up from an already very high rate to an incredibly high rate, sigh.

You've got to be kidding me...
Today is a very bad day, the worst in my biking experience. My GSXR-750 was stolen from outside my place of work at lunch-time. There's many details, which involve me giving chase, end up in a council estate, losing them and only having a small piece of CCTV evidence, along with the alarm/imobiliser they ripped out and dumped. The police are being quite unhelpful which is very depressing. It'll be a month before the insurance company can look at making an offer, and god-knows how long after that before they send me a cheque. This is going to wreck my summer plans. I've already lost out on a set of new mods I bought for the bike, and a trackday paid for next week. More news as it comes... (argh!)

Tick Tock
Not much new on the site, I've been working hard in my spare time on another website which I plan to launch sometime in the summer or before. I have added something new and cool to the site though, a guestmap. This is like a guestbook, but using a global map to mark where in the world you are. Check out the link on the top-right of the page! I get visitors from all over the world according to my logs and messages, it'd be nice to know exactly where you all come from!
