Goings on

I had no idea that having your wisdom teeth removed could be so uncomfortable/painful for so long, it's been nearly a week now and it's still driving me crazy with the dull-aches and number/tingly tongue.

The quickshifter on the bike is coming off, I don't like it, it's not as smooth as changing via clutchless means, and actually makes me tense using it, some built-in fear of the jerking sesnsation causing me to think about it, rather than on what's in front. I have no idea why it's so jerky, the chain is correctly adjusted and I lowered the kill-time for the shifts from 75ms to 45ms and only one gear change was as it should be, from second to third gear. The unit was also installed by an official Dynojet rolling-road shop. Quite why it was only smooth for one gear selection is beyond me. I'll await Dynojets response before repacking it and putting it up on eBay.

Doom 3, nice and scary, but not varied enough, they could have done more with the game, it was just like Half-Life and Quake, but I liked the retro sound-effects, made me remember the hours I lost to the original games as a teenager. Still, made good use of the new ATI X800 Pro graphics card I bought recently.
